```Alex Warren Morrison reviews
Doobie Brothers was so short it was disappointing
"In the early seventies, I fell for the Doobies. Disappointment struck when we caught them in Evansville IN. Patrick Simmons Jr. kicked off the show at 8:00 pm with some acoustic tunes, which were just OK. After about 30 minutes, we eagerly awaited the Doobies. Finally, they took the stage about 45 minutes late and performed for just one hour and 15 minutes. Given the ticket price, I anticipated a longer set. Although they played their hits, they also included many lesser-known songs in that brief timeframe. Just as I was getting into the groove, they played "Black Water," signaling the show's end was near. And indeed, it wasn't long before the show wrapped up. The Doobies might rock, but that night they rolled right out with our money."
